It’s time to revisit the 2021 PDFL Rookie Draft! Almost a full calendar year in the books and a player’s market value has obviously changed. One key note: our league obviously doesn’t require a mandatory TE position, so the TE value is a bit inflated.

DRAFT ANALYSIS:

The biggest and most important take away is that #MiamiMeltdown was actually a #MiamiWin for Isaac (in a sense). Taking Chase over Najee and then Javonte over ETN would have solidified a near perfect draft for Isaac, but nothing we all didn’t already know. Isaac came away with the most Draft value but was 2nd worst in efficiency with his picks. QB’s continue to be selected over outstanding player profiles (as usual), and of course the NFL dictates a player’s opportunity to bloom (landing spot). All-in-all this was a pretty stacked draft and it was hard to miss on the first 12 picks.
