MEHR MEHR MEHR MEHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! 2025 Draft Grades 1-Year Later!  First, we’re taking a look specifically at the difference between a player’s post draft value and their current market value according to the DTC (Dynasty Trade Calculator). Obviously, you’re shooting for a positive differential here. Then we’ll take a look at the best picks of the draft (players values who increased the most since the draft). And cap it off with a “What-If/What-Should-Have-Been” 2025 PDFL Rookie Draft.

The first (and possibly only positive note) is the overall ‘value’ of this class increased! Total class value was at 333.6 post NFL Draft in May 2025. The class is now sitting at 418.8 in total value (up 85.2 value points in the old DTC). The negative; this class still ranks as the worst draft class since… I started doing this after the 2020 NFL Draft.

Damn! I guess Jaxson Dart is worth a 2x MVP + 1.8! Over the past years, there’s probably 8 or 9 things Aaron didn’t listen to me on, and this was definitely one of them… “Don’t draft Cam Ward!” I’m sure Cam will be an alright QB20’ish the rest of his playing days but Dart sits at QB7 in redraft (whereas Cam is currently sitting at QB24). If feels really similar to what could happen this year (Mendoza goes 1st overall but Ty Simpson ends up being the better fantasy QB).

Other notables: Joey taking the Skatt-Man at 2.6 was a little rich for me but the dynasty world is still pretty high on him (Until 2 weeks from today when the Giants draft Love). Emeka blew up and flamed out to end the season but no more Evans. Could be a JSN type player in a year or two. Tuten RB1?! Shough is a guy I would trade as fast as I could (along with Shedeur) and Woody’s window is already closed. Tet is a freak and Isaac still does Isaac things. LB3 = to the moon!

Over the past years, there’s probably 8 or 9 things Aaron didn’t listen to me on, and this was definitely one of them… Lucky for you, I shouldn’t have listened to me either. Apparently Jeanty’s value is down in dynasty circles?! I might have to cut him… JEANY IS AVAILABLE! Time will tell with the 1.1 and 1.3 but things aren’t looking so great for the 1.4 and 1.9 picks. Hunter seems to be transitioning to Defense (it’s just a phase) and Kaleb Johnson is battling Rico and Warren for touches.

Jeanty was the clear 1.1 in dynasty so not going to read into this differential too much. Cam Ward will be given every opportunity in the world to succeed in the NFL as the 1st overall pick (see Jameis and Bryce Young). But Hunter had that 2-way stink on him and Kaleb was 3rd round non-elite profile. Tough break guys.

In conclusion, this is easily one of the worst value draft classes we’ll see. Even worse than what we think we’re heading into in 2-weeks! Surprisingly, the pre-draft values are higher than expected at 352.3 (ranking the top 48 players) in the 2026 Draft. But I wouldn’t read into too much. DTC didn’t even have Shough in their pre-draft calculations and people actually PAY them for their calculators… Jesus we should seriously be making money of this shit.
